Hello! My Name is Nikki Benson, and I launched this site December 18, 2008 in dedication to music, specifically Show Review. Since June of 2009, I started bringing on staff. Currently, we are 13 strong! We provide live show reviews, previews, and interviews with all types of acts and special interests.
Seattle Show Gal is in hot pursuit of undiscovered talent! How many great bands are out there that are slipping through the cracks? Seattle is saturated with so much music, it would be nearly impossible to sift through it all to find the good stuff. The Seattle Show Gal staff is not so proud to think that we can bring you all of it, but we are actively pursuing all different types of acts to give you a pulse on what is going on–right here in Seattle! Of course we are going to review popular and traveling acts as well, but the only qualification for a band to get reviewed is they have to play in the Seattle area–except for those EXTRA special acts. 
Another reason to check Seattle Show Gal regularly, comparatively speaking, is because we offer you concert reviews with video coverage. We do our best to get you high quality audio and HD video whenever it is allowed by the artist and venue. We are also so obsessed with music, you can count on us to give you our hearts when it comes to conveying the experience of the show.
When it comes to seeing shows, or just being invested in music in general, elitism is common place. That is one thing that you will NOT find here. Opinions are subjective, and we don’t place any unrealistic value on ours. What you WILL find here, is a lot of experience in the local music scene, both on and off the stage, put to use to give you a unique take on things. With the aid of the video clips, we can offer you more than just our word on if the Live Show is something you want to spend your time and money on should you have the opportunity.
